I will post mine later, as im not on my photo comp now, but i think this would be a cool thread to start every week and start a new subject every week or so for everyone to capture/post pictures of the related subject.. get the photo forum moving a bit... what do you guys think? post away!

there's an old school on the other side of the parking lot that is being turned into lofts.

Relatively unchanged since James Joyce had the privilage of sharing the same view. You can see how old and scratched the glass is in the fly pic. So I guess he was looking through the exact same pane.
Lots of Parks Castles and Harbours locally but I will wait for the next "Post your" to come up:)

Have to say despite my faults I am not happy with the 18-200. Iv'e had much better success with other Nikkor lenses. I need a pro to fire off a few with it to give me final say but srsly thinking of dumping it.

Its a north facing view so always great light.
Here is my attempt at firing one off 3.43 AM handheld 2s exposure through the glass. Fail.
My poor wife started to wake up as I opened the shutters. The click woke her up. This time of year the sun barely goes down and the light and calm is something else at this hour.
Hmm add tripod to shopping list;-)
