.. first attempt at 'light painting'. set camera in bulb mode, F18, ISO50 and walked around with a bare 430ex at 1/8pwr and pop the flash at different section of the car. some spots I missed though but this was the best of the bunch that i tried. battery of the flash was dying lol. this was shot in my garage.

PP includes adding blacks and fill light in lightroom and darkening the background in photoshop.

.. i was only at 1/8pwr but after 3 consective pops, i had to wait a sec or two for it to be ready again.

ill try it again sometimes and probably try it with a shoot-thru umbrella as well and see how it goes. since i remember that video on youtube where he uses a softbox i think.

Mine seems to keep the same intensity for the pilot no matter where the setting is.
