View Full Version : Even if i'm a canon guy, A6AvantErik: MCS 02-11-2008, 05:22 PM My newspapers photo department just got approved for a D300, another 300 2.8, and a few other goodies =D can't wait to play with it.. I decided to stay put for now, but it wasn't easy :) LaR H 88 02-12-2008, 12:43 PM kris, i'm sure he feels your pain :P TristanP 02-12-2008, 12:57 PM PabloX 02-12-2008, 01:23 PM Besides, the D3 and D300 allow you to adjust for backfocus and store individual adjustments for 30 or so lenses. *SNAP* leslie 02-12-2008, 01:23 PM PabloX 02-12-2008, 01:24 PM *snicker* Petri 02-12-2008, 01:29 PM LOL! I almost took the plunge myself last week but decided to give Canon one more chance. I rarely shoot above ISO 800 (or even above 400), so the D3 would be wasted on me. It is a fine piece of equipment though, there's no denying that. MichaelTM 02-12-2008, 01:32 PM PabloX 02-12-2008, 01:37 PM That said, I have an F3T and have considered getting rid of it. MichaelTM 02-12-2008, 01:44 PM not the giving away part, but not having them. Well, that sentence didn't make much sense, did it :) At least I know they are still being used, so that's good :) Although if your F3T is in good shape, they seem to sell quite well on ebay... LaR H 88 02-12-2008, 02:22 PM so jealous right now... PabloX 02-12-2008, 02:26 PM It just seems a bit wrong to have money tied up in somethign that will probably never be used. The F3T seems more worthy of holding onto though. The Pentax LX was sweet. I had a Pentax 67 for awhile. It's too bad they've become such an also ran. PabloX 02-12-2008, 02:29 PM I bet the 7D (or whatever it's called) will match the D3's high ISO quality. |
