View Full Version : I am interested in buying some gloves for winter shooting, but I want them to be very tactile Shep 1.8T 12-20-2007, 12:03 AM any suggestions ? There is cold...and there is COLD! A6AvantErik: MCS 12-20-2007, 03:06 PM I'll get the brand to you once im in my car again, as thats where they are currently sitting. Work great for shooting! I'm planning on using them at UConn's bowl game in NC... hopefully it'll be halfway warm =p Greyhound Guy 12-20-2007, 07:23 PM Not the warmest of gloves but the padding on the palm prevented that super cold feeling on metal equipment. Shep 1.8T 12-20-2007, 10:01 PM very thin neoprene with little rubber inserts stitched on them, about 25 dollars.. pretty good and thin enough to allow me to screw around with my camera. I went home and tested. The backs are a soft terry with elastic wrist cuffs and a velcro closure/adjustment. They go past the wrist. The fit is golf glove tight which is perfect and the palm is slightly tacky so there is no slipping! Plus, since they are cut to be skin tight, they slip rightin my ski gloves as a liner if I need extra warmth. I just shoot for two days outside, at the edge of a raging river...and wasn't the slight bit cold handling gear. |
