View Full Version : My computer motherboard is dead! :( A4wheelin 06-05-2007, 02:29 PM I'm going to try and upload my camera software to my girlfriend's computer sometime though. The CF card in my 30D is almost full of pics and I can't download them, it's driving me crazy!!!!!!! TristanP 06-05-2007, 04:37 PM RKA 06-05-2007, 07:12 PM what...his GF's computer has cooties? TristanP 06-05-2007, 07:33 PM Set aside the full CF card for when it can be downloaded and shoot with the new one. A4wheelin 06-06-2007, 07:10 AM TristanP 06-06-2007, 10:11 AM Don't you have a card reader? Much easier than making sure your camera is a valid USB device. I don't think I've ever plugged my cam into the PC directly after I set the copyright info on it via the Canon utilty. Easy to keep in the camera bag, too. A4wheelin 06-07-2007, 07:59 AM What's wrong with using the camera to upload photos? What did you say about setting the copyright? MichaelTM 06-07-2007, 08:39 AM much easier and often faster to use, no need to fiddle with camera/cable, etc... As for copyright, you can use camera software to set your name, copyright, etc in-camera, so the images' EXIF contains this data A4wheelin 06-07-2007, 04:36 PM I'll have to look into that copyright info, that's a good idea. Thanks. Mr. Ricco 06-08-2007, 08:37 AM and you have a power spike, failure, etc. it can damage the camera. . I always use a card reader. A4wheelin 06-08-2007, 07:58 PM |
