I'm going to Montreal in a couple of weeks to attend the F1 race, and I was wondering if the 70-300mm I have would be enough, or should I go out and buy different glass.

The body I have is a Canon XTi.

This year I may pick up the 1.4x teleconverter to be safe.

300mm f2.8 and a 2x converter.. That was fine.
