to a 24-70 or 24-105 in a few months, but I can't go without a wide end. Excellent product marketing by Canon, though. They can magically make a $1,100 lens a $1,750 commitment!

View Full Version : uughh, why is the Canon 10-22mm so @#$%#! expensive? I'm planning to upgrade Zed 2.0 02-14-2007, 04:00 PM to a 24-70 or 24-105 in a few months, but I can't go without a wide end. Something you may not even notice. Zed 2.0 02-15-2007, 08:08 AM if Sigma/Tamron/whoever put out a lens that was objectively better than Canon L glass, I would have no qualms with buying it. But having owned one of Sigma's "best" lenses (which is still a great lens, btw), I'd rather pay the extra cash and get L-quality colors. |
