One of my teachers asked me to take some headshot of the students in one of her classes. I happily said yes because it gave me the opportunity to try something new. It was pretty fun, it made me want studio lighting but I can't really afford it right now so I guess it will have to wait. Let me know what you guys think! Any critiques would be great!

what kind of lighting were you using?

my only complaint would be that I think you cropped the top a little too tight on most of 'em.

Very good results.

The setup was a strobe just over my right shoulder that bounced off an umbrella and through a flag. Really basic setup but it seemed to work out nicely.

And ya I agree that I cropped out too much of their heads. It's not like that on all of my shots though. The only ones that it really bothers me is the 2 guy shots. I definitely need to watch out for that in the future.
