i'd really like to put up a few small shelves in my condo and place vintage cameras on them. where's the best place to find vintage cameras for cheap? ebay? they don't need to work, but hey, if they do maybe i'll get some film and play with them a bit. what kind of prices should i expect to pay?
looking for ones like these or any other interesting looking old school cameras:

I used to go to antique flea markets with my mom way back in the day...she is an antique dealer...and you can always find old cameras there.

Tons of old, dusty crap there.

I suggest an old folding camera or maybe an old Speed Graphic.

I have a 20+ year old FG-20 sitting at my mom's house. Would consider parting with the body.

My dad also had an old Kodak (Brownie perhaps), not sure if that's still at the house.

rangefinder cameras from the 40's/50's, the accordian type cameras, i don't have specific models in mind or anything. i'd just like ones that look good on display.

you can't help but admire the craftsmanship in them. another: 1972 canon canonet rangefinder. that design looks ahead of its time.

I think i'd love to own samples of those. I'd display them and let people fondle them... nikon F, canon canonet, yaschica twin lens reflex, olympus OM-1, minolta... they're all so cheap now. ebay would have lots I'm sure. here's an odd site I found with lots of background on certain old cameras. interesting reading I found

nikon F history...

plus, go to "camera articles" at top menu for much more

The name 'Canon' comes from the Buddhist deity Kwanon and early Canon cameras were actually spelled 'Kwanon' and the lenses were named 'Kyasapa' after another deity.

I'm pretty sure my parents gave me mine in '78 or so. I should have kept it.

http://www.cameraquest.com/canql17.htm</a
