Flash Left: AB800 with a white reflective umbrella

EXIF's should be intact. This is my first time using them with a car, I am pretty pleased with the results.

#3 & #5 are the best.

if you have any more lights, try giving it a little light from the rear edge just to define those lines and pop it from the dark background.

also, try shooting it with the interior dome lights on...or add a light inside the truck.

play around with it...maybe try getting the softbox up high and light it from above.

cool truck...I almost bought one myself.
nice shots.

For your location (driveway) you did great on all of them, but it's really not the ideal location.

coyote creek. It wasn't always the boulder-hopping exercise it is now. My family has some property up there I've been meaning to mark.

canyon, by we I should say adventure4x4 but we're running into the usual red tape.

one could drive up through the lower willows instead of the trek over the hill. It was fine when first done, but erosion has left the road passable to only the well-equipped. I made it up there with my YJ six years ago all the way to the fence / middle willows. Wish it still went all the way through too.

By adopt and maintain you mean make more passable? I could see ABDSP not wanting to improve the road; in my experience it feels like they really don't want people to have access. It would be nice if I could take the Manx up there in the future though. The dunes are now blocked off too.

but some of the damage done by rigs going up the pass make it really rough on even well equipped vehicles. My stock FJ in that photo coming down off that rock would have destroyed the rockers/door... but i had sliders. lots of banging, clanking coming down =\

can maintain the trail so that it's still technical and fun, but not rediculous. Especially considering camping area at the top.
