the integrated IS/VR body is attractive. so do these things work with both canon & nikon specific lens or are sony users limited to konica & sony specific optics?

So, they basically took over the Minolta SLR line. The new Sony DSLR will use Minolta AF lenses as well as the new Sony branded lenses.
As mentioned, the PSP thing is a joke.
I can't see a reason to buy the Sony over a Nikon or Canon.

works great, i love it. I had full body Minoltas (digital and film) before that, and have always been happy with them.

I think there was a press release stating something like that. This could be interesting.

However like anything out there, there are pros/cons to in-body image stabilization vs lens with image stabilization.

None of them really seem that interesting to me.
