I was a little late getting to the gate, and with only 10 people left to board, I was crying because ...
1. Didn't have the SLR. I needed more zoom than this little P&S could give me.
2. Didn't have a tripod. The full size shows some camera shake even with the IS on.
3. Didn't have more time to wait out the sunrise.

Still, an absolutely stunning sunrise. I did my best to capture it with the baby Leica. I'll let the hometown crowd announce what city this is!

I really wanted to go downtown to one of the museums and just walk around, but with only 4 days, and all the family stuff going on, I just couldn't.

Oddly, more and more of my family is settling out there. So I guess I'll be visiting more often! Next time!

You should still be well north of the JH building at O'hare.

I may have been pointing SE when that picture was taken, which could place me north of JH. If you're using the sun as a point of reference, you can't assume that's directly to the east, especially around this time of year.
