I like the feel of the outer skin of hte D70 better, the instant turn on, and the for evah buffer..

But he and I both agree that the D70 has a noticeable shutter lag compared to the Drebel, which we both found odd.

Image quality is basically the same.

and the shutter lag is very noticeable. Enough so that I would have returned the camera.

Literally like "press shutter button".........."click".

What if anything made you pick the Sigma?

he has the sigma on a d70 and i have the tamron on a Rebel XT. I haven't gotten any real great opportunities to test the lens out, but the shots i've taken with it have been good so far.

otherwise, a very nice camera though.

she just needs to be looking up so we can see if she's cute or not. =)
