sometimes i want to through my 70-300 ISU into the river...and other times i get a nice sharp image with vibrant colors like this one. it's a love-hate relationship for sure.

had to crop this abstract of the tracks a bit...there was a rather ugly Ford vehicle parked above the horizon...it's still kinda' bland.

I've been doing some pics of the kids in front of the house riding back and forth on their bikes. I set the 20D to AI Servo focusing, turn on the IS, and shoot away. I've also done some static shots with One Shot focusing and they came out just fine, too. Do you have any examples?

and expecting to much out of the lens that really needs quite a bit of light even though it has IS.

most of my shooting requires a large f-stop...thus resulting in longer shutter speeds. so depth of field is almost nill and any little shake takes what was in focus and makes it fuzzy.

have a look at some of the shots in this directory. comments appreciated.<ul><li><a href="http://marsavius.net/photography/images/70-300_tests/">70-300 tests [BWW]</a></li></ul>

on a tripod. if that doesn't get rid of the slight blur then it's time to sell.

i do believe the IS is working. with a lens this long you can see it take over when it is invoked...hear it also.
