its quite large... and a full 3 pounds too. Too bad its all dark outside otherwise I'd go play.

But it's still a big ass lens!

but for the $365 paid I'm pleased. I'll start shooting with it asap. Should be interesting considering I have the Minolta 5D body with built in image stabiization... still I think at the effective 750mm a tripod will be necessary.
