My bank account is sorry to hear that the 20D feels better in my (large, I guess) hands. Damn. How much longer do I need to save up for this one, now?

If Canon announces a replacement for the 20D, it will be in late Feb. Next round of rebates is in the spring. So I guess the question is...how much longer do you want to wait?

Another option is the used market. Prices typically fall drastically right around an announcement for a replacement. Afterwards the price will come back up a little. In any event, if you get one that's only a few months old, and get the orig. receipt, you'll have the balance of the warranty if you need to use it.

I really can't justify either camera + lenses right now, even with rebates, so it's not like I'm really missing out on anything. You know how long it takes me to buy things...

I think this is before I got the battery grip... but you can see that my hands envelop the 300d pretty well..
