I'm looking to learn how to take good pics. Nothing to serius, more for whenever i have extra time. don;t want to spend lots of money and used would be best.
what camera is a good starting camera with good options and price.

but I'd probably throw in at least one lense (Tamron 28-300) and film.

to digital because, I got tired of getting the film processed. Although you can go to Costco for development, you still have to store the prints.

I decided to go to digital and have never looked back. I like the fact that I can store and delete pics from my camera wthout wasting film. I also like the fact that I can print the pictures I want to print.

There are definite advantages to digital SLRs. I have one and I'm about as amateur as you can get.
