I'd either sit and rot alone in london, or end up as an intern in holland, or maybe have a summer course in singapore.

what's the typical cost like? lets say for a low budget one week trip.

I've not done a week.

I've done a few weeks touring Europe incorporating the ring and I've done 3 and 4 day trips but never a week.

Chunnel/ferry - anything from ?50-200!!
Hotel - ?20 a night up to silly money at the F1 track Dorint 5* hotel
Petrol - lots
Laps - about ?7ish a lap.

I normally reckon on about ?400-600 including beer money. I convine myself that I save most of that buying 'duty free' on the way back ;-)

This of course doesn't include cost of tyres of brake pads etc.

800 gbp is my monthly budget (including rent)...not sure if I'm ready to blow that kind of money on 4days

lets see, 450rent(including 2 meals), 60 oyster, 40 phone bills, the leftovers for booze and lunch and other necessities.

well, I'll see if I can get a bike here on my third year.everything is crazy expensive.
