We were at the tail end of a 5000 mile roadtrip (the Q7 performed flawlessly)and the sat radio began to cut out. Same with IPOD and the driver display would blink. I also noticed the nav was working but would loose orientation when the display blinked. I did a search on this forum (thanks to you) and found out how to reset the MMI by holding down the cursor, setup and upper right arrow buttons. This fixed the problem. I saw in the forum others that had this same problem but the reset did not correct and required a service call. Perhaps the problem will come back but after three hours on the road all is ok. Thanks again to the forum for saving me a trip to the dealer. By the way, I used mostly regular gas on this trip and didn't notice any difference in mileage and the car ran perfect. I'll probably stay with premium now that I'm home since there is only a dime difference. On the road trip, it was usually 30 cents more.
