If you use the dension system coupled with its bluetooth addition.
Your most likely complication may be connector at armrest when you remove Changer.
What system are you considering?

That's the very peculiar problem! There is a 6 CD changer in the dash and a changer in the arm rest which only accepts 1 CD!! Go figure, what a waste of space!

Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely right! The one in the arm rest can only load 1 CD!! What a waste of space. Now you can understand why I don't need it and would rather the space.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't really decided. The stero guy is going to have a look. My goal is to replace the cd changer in the armrest with an ipod interface without messing up the MMI system in the car. Any suggestions?

AMI is just badged version by all accounts and even if it isnt it still operates in the same way.
The Ami will probably fit better in your armrest but the fibre-optic cable is probably the same. The MMI system just counts on as if you have more CDs I think it will be the same for your extra changer or AMI it will just count either one as next in line!
