I have a 6 week old 3.0tdi S-Line. The engine will not pick up when in 4th or 5th gear when rpm is low at 1100/1200 abd doint 30/35mph, it's as if the gearbox is in the wrong gear, engine very slowly picks up untill turbo kicks in at 1600/1700 rpm.
Has anyone had this problem or has any ideas ??
Dealer says there is nothing wrong, but there demonstator is not like it ?

No oil ligth in the dasboard? No noise metalic at start up...

Check your diesel filter diesel could be contaminated by water please chek and have it purged ....

But haven't noticed any loss of power.

In my 3.0 TDI.
Steady speed at 55kmh in 4th then add accaleration by degrees. I could not stop it kicking down unless I was very gentle.

Again from 55Kmh steady push throttle 1/2 to 3/4 and it drops to 3rd and rockets away.

Have to say from 55kmh this car really wants to go. I kept running out of road or caught up to traffic. It seems you do have a problem!

As I posted before did you try SPORT MODE to see if it was different?

Car has been into dealers for 3 days, they have flashed all software for gearbox and engine then done a 30mile test drive to initiate it all. It does seem a lot better now. Lets see what happens.
