Hello, did anyone tried to connect non-IPOD mp3 player to Music interface? I have Creative Zen Vision M, I know that I can buy a cable to connect it, but according to the manual, the only thing that will be allowed is audio will be passed thru Stereo system. The question is - how can you change the tracks? My Music interface is located in storage between front seats and it doesn't allow you to have a player outside of the place for IPOD - there is no hole thru.

It seems to me you are right. Just don't understand what is the point of selling cable for non-IPOD players to connect it to the Music interface if the only thing you can do is to pass
music but cannot change the songs? At least they had to make some hole thru for the cable being routed outside.

for every player on the market so they simply provide the ability to pass music through if you choose not to use an iPod. With as inexpensive as an iPod is, why not just go get one?

I did not want to buy an IPOD because I already have a 30GB Creative which INMO a much better player (can play all kind of video files - I watch movies in train while getting to work)

I've watched several movies already on my iPhone, the best screen on a portable device hands down and better battery live than the 5th gen iPod.
