I live in Hawaii with a single Audi dealer. I've bought my last two Audi's on the mainland and shipped them over due to high prices at the local dealership.

Before I go in to negotiate on a new Q7 4.2 I'm trying to gauge what I would pay if I bought it on the west coast and shipped it over.

For my 2002 A6 2.7T I paid $1500 over invoice in Pasadena and for my current 2005 TT 3.2 I paid about $1700 over invoice out of Montana. I'm curious to know if people are having a similar experience with the Q7 pricing.

I paid ~$1,011 over invoice for my '07 3.6 Premium. I say approximate because I had the Invision entertainment system in and I didn't know the MSRP on it so I had to guess at a discount rate.

The $1,011 includes the $775 delivery charge, so $236 without.

Considering I had to have it shipped from another location (about 300 miles away), and didn't have to pay for that, I am happy.

If your going '07 you should be able to get a good deal, assuming you find a vehicle you like as the '08 are now starting to surface (at least through orders)

i was several thousand UNDER for a 4.2p special order.

I paid $500 over invoice a few weeks ago.
