Hi! I'm new to this and I don't actually have a Q7 but am interested in buying one. I heard that the 3.0 liter diesel will be availble in the US but I wasn't sure whether it was 50 state legal or not. I live in California and have always wondered why I see Ford F-series pick-ups with huge diesels and no small economical diesels. I personally think that it is stupid, but anyway, if the 3.0 liter is 50 state legal, will the 4.2 and V12 diesel be available in the US? If those two will make it I would probably have the V8 diesel because it is in my opinion the best compromise between economy and power. Thanks in advance.

Dont hold your breath for 4.2 TDI unless you come to EU and then import your own!
