Last week I noticed all of the paint on one of the rear sensors had flaked off.

Today - when washing, the paint from all 4 back sensors and two of the front is now off completely.

Car is '06 4.2, Phantom black.

Never use pressure washer or anything else that could cause this. It seems like the sensors were not primed properly?

Anyone else have the same issue?

Not the end of the world but it does look like my Q7 has a touch of acne :)

They offer me to repaint them, I'm not sure, do these require special paint?

Did read somewhere that it needs to be non-metallic paint but I am not 100%.

I'll get on to my dealer today...
