has any one installed a sub woofer and amp tothe factory bose system and had a problem with the mmi going on the fritz ( fiber optic problem )????

brought my q7 to the dealership and it turns out that the stock bose amp was blown the took care of it no problem but not a problem i expected with a 60k q7 that a month old the blown amp totally disabled all system that are used with the mmi what a pain in the a@*
