I entered pricing for the V6 into my database the other day. Though it starts out $10,000 below the V8, if you equip a V6 like the V8 the gap narrows to about $1,500.

I agree. From what I can tell, if you're going for a loaded Q7, you might as well get the V8 because the price difference is so little. I can see going with the V6 if it got a lot better gas mileage, but it doesn't.
