So they removed one 12v charger and did not place it elsewhere. Is that correct? It does not make much sense. I guess that I will need to purchase a charger splitter or hook up additional gadgets to the two chargers in the second row seats, assuming that those were not removed on the S Line! mojohio 08-27-2006, 11:12 AM What sense does it make to pay more for a package and have less of what the base model has. DM-S4 08-27-2006, 07:21 PM AudiByNature 08-28-2006, 05:05 AM First, by deleting one of the 12v adapters, you save weight, which is crucial on the S-line. Second, they deleted the one on the driver side, which will help balance the vehicle better when there's just a driver the vehicle. Third, the S-line also gets a three spoke steering wheel (one less than the non S-line), reducing weight even more. Because of this, I believe the S-line Q7 will weight approx. 5462lbs, instead of a ridiculously heavy 5463lbs. I am, of course, kidding. I have no earthly idea why they delete the 12v adapter. Makes ZERO sense. DM-S4 08-28-2006, 02:12 PM AudiByNature 08-28-2006, 04:20 PM |
