It would be sweet if Audi did build it. It would make sense to have a Q7 capable of competing with either a Cayenne Turbo S or a G55 AMG. The Q7 4.2 doesn't feel overly slow with the V8, but a bump up of 100 hp to around 450-500 hp would really add to the driving experience. Putting either the 5.2L V10 or 6.0L W12 in the Q7 are definitely possibilities, and Audi appears willing to import a couple hundred limited edition models per year as evidenced by the A8L W12 with only 150 each year. Audi seems to be paralleling the Cayenne model line with the Q7 4.2 = Cayenne S, and the Q7 3.6 = Cayenne, so I bet they're working on one to compete with the Cayenne Turbo/Turbo S.

A 5.5L FSI valvetronic V10 producing 550 hp (thanks to an 8,250 or 8,500 RPM redline) and 420 or 435 lbs/ft of torque with a six-speed stick or seven-speed S Tronic in the form of the high performance QS7 would be extrordinarily sweet. Hopefully, it would weigh in at 200-300 pounds lighter than a Q7 4.2. This would come from extensive use of aluminum, magnesium, titanium-if there is no excessive price increase from using this metal-and carbon fiber with minimal or relatively minimal use of steel-most or all of it in the rear only-in the construction. A DRC sport suspension like the RS 4 and RS 6 would be mandatory.
