the mode button on the wheel only adjusts the radio stations / cd tracks your in - or mobile phone and people your want to dial!!!

On our opel signum we can set anything on the sat nav / info / entertainment system with the steering wheel which avoids looking done away from road...

Not sure if others have had same problems...

I gues, that's how it is meant to be. Same thing in my Q7.

For all other features, there is voice recognition, once you have that feature.

Plus, after some miles, you'll control the MMI real blind without looking.
