View Full Version : UK standard headlight units

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/108157/dscn1705.jpg"></center><p>I'm thinking that the standard UK halogen headlight units are a bit of a let down. I was expecting to see something more like the ones in the marketing material/demo cars I've seen. Now realising that you would have to add the adaptive/bi-xenon to get those. Even my old A4 with standard halogen lamps had something that looked at bit cooler than this! (a convex lense on the dipped beam lamp).
The worst bit is that the design line of the bonnet that should carry across the the headlight (marked by the edge of the black internal housing) is mis-aligned. Hope this is making sense.

Are the standard light units in the UK halogens? I ordered the Xenon Plus units but did not get the adaptive bit. I assume what I will get is what you show on the Swedish picture

Yes, standard UK lights are halogens. I reckon yours will be as the Swedish pic
