Same weight and tank size as Touareg. So much for being 630# lighter...

...and certainly not the 630lb figure someone (Blownaway?) had quoted. The 4.2 Premium is almost 200# heavier than the base V8 Touareg.

While I love my Touareg and its handling, there's no hiding the fact that it's a heavy car. If the 630lbs number had been true, that would have made a significant difference in the overall feel of the car.

They also state that the Q7 handles and drives very noticably better than the Touareg and does 0-62 mph in 7.4 seconds.
