All I wanted was to take a glimpse of the car I spend 100k on. Quite annoying frankly.

Audi's marketing strategy is smart but they 're starting to over do it. Asking the customer to go that much of his way to 'discover' audi when mb and bmw will do anything to show you the car is too much (classic pull strategy, making you feel you are finding something others don't know about). They did the same with the a3 in the US and still have a mystery surrounding the rs4, esp. with pricing. I mean, I will not beg them to get the rs4 vs. the new m3. Audi did the same with the rs6 and then did not know what to do with the cars sitting on the lots. They need to get the facts out and treat customers a tad better.

And what share of the suv market esp. in the US will tolerate spending so long on the q7 website to play around and see the car.

Interestingly Audi deutschland is not following the same idiotic strategy. The Q7 is up and running on the configurator and even s-line details and prices are available.

went and saw it 2 weeks ago, was invited by my garage to see it, the photos are below, its lava gray, 3.0 tdi, with alot of the extras in it
