I went to order my Q7 from my dealer, he had prices and options. No sports package, no sports seats, no tip steering wheel, no S-Line and it was all wood trim options. It seemed like all of the sports options everyone else got we did not get in the US. Oh- well guess I keep my Porsche S SUV for a while.

Tim, that's great news. Will the V10 or anything with a turbo be an option? And the DSG gearbox is a must have. How long will I be waiting?

I wanted the Verano Leather Sports Seats, I saw them in Germany on a Q7. They looked really good. I know it is an option in the UK.

Will someone take my deposit on a V10/DSG Q7? I might have to get an S6 Avant to hold me over till then. :-)

I've got a nice enough ride to last me the year long wait. I can say that there will be a lot of converts from Cayenne Turbos to a V10 DSG Audi that has 3 rows of seating. At the altitude I live it at, we need turbos (7000-8500'), but a v10 will do nicely. The FSI8 will certainly be kinder at the pumps though. Or a TDI-10, that would work.
