Have been on the waiting list for quite a while... European countries are placing their orders... When do we get more information here in the U.S.?

When will the first deliveries happen?
What is the MSRP?
What will the U.S. options be? And what is the option price list?
What colors are available?
When can we test drive?
Will it be at the LA auto show?

I was just sent a completely useless brochure from Audi America (PDF file). The dealers know nothing about the car. And they are giving me the run around on ordering, saying that the first cars will be "dealer" cars and they will not allow customer orders until the second batch (which goes against what I did for our A4 Cab - had the first one in Ca).

If I do not get some clarity in the next few weeks I may have to place an order for an MB GL or something else. Have a baby on the way :-)

Orders will begin most likely next month.
V8 will be out first with 350hp FSI, with 280hp FSI V6 to follow in August.
Expect prices close to the A6 4.2 and A6 3.2; maybe a little more.
The first one will be shown most likely at the LA or Detroit Autoshow.
Test drive might happen right before release date in May.
Options have not been set yet, but some include Audi Lane Assist, Rear View camera, new DVD nav system, 19 or 20" rims, Open sky a la A3....
The first batch will have limited amount of options available, but still will be extremely well equipped.
because of the HUGE demand for it in Europe, very few will most likely be available every month.
