Just found out that the Q7 will come out first with a 4.2L Fsi (345Hp). We will be able to order sometime in November for May 18th delivery. The 3.2L Fsi with 280Hp will be available roughly 3 months later.

any reason why 3.2L FSI is coming after the 4.2L FSI?

and, maybe to launch the vehicle first that will garner the most praise in the automotive press.

I like the idea.

I'd like to see a killer diesel options first, if i had my wish.

When the Q7 comes out, I can name several manufacturers that will freak out.

Our rep told us that it's a 3.2... but he's been wrong before, so I guess we'll have to wait.

they wanted to do the same thing with the A6, but the dealers were all out so we force the early launch of the 3.2. With all the hype, I wouldn't be surprised to see the V6 released early...
