View Full Version : whats the max whp that the b7 2.0t can handle

i have called multiple shops and have been givin any whp within 350-475whp on the stock block. thats a 125whp difference..someone(s) dont know what they are talking about. anyone know some nice numbers or have some nice setups that can help me out..i was thinking about
1. gt28rs eliminator
2.fmic
3.exhaust
4.stage 3 chip
5. bigger injectors
6.(have=> test pipe,chip,pulley,carbonio)
anyone have anything on this

Why would you run an eliminator turbo on that motor? Run a real 28RS or 2871.

You'll need a fuel pump, and new injectors ($$$$).

FWIW, I don't think 475whp is realistic, especially on a quattro. And you'll never make that power with any sort of 28RS-size turbo.

Isn't the 2871 a little small for a 2.0T? I would think people would put GT30R's into these engines since that's what the DSMers are doing.

My cars spend a whole lot more time on the street than they do on the dyno, if you know what I mean.

and may require internal changes if pushed.
You will not need a new fuel pump either.
Putting on too large of a turbo becomes nothing more then a dyno queen.
