there is no point to replace it yet..you are not making the sufficient amount of power o be in need of it..with the apr chip you are seeing like 190-200whp..which is around 235-250hp at the crank..when you have around 300hp+ then you will have to get an actual bov..this bov attaches to your old diverter valve with a special flange and seals in which prevent the div valves and seals from weakening and breaking..i have been hearing that some div valves are breaking on stock b7's though..i have 4000 miles on mine and i race it kind of hard and no problem yet..

well what i ment was, will the apr software do anything weird like throw codes, because i have 93 oct. chip, carbonio inatke, custom FIC,(front mount intercooler), full exahust with testpipe, and the pully kit, and i do hear some leakage outa the dv, bc i have the forge adapter on it and i can hear boost leaks when i take off normaly it sounds kinda weird to me...but i was thinking that would be a quick fix and wanted a second opinion

the ecu is throwing a check engine code..the only thing is while your chip is activated, the code is constantly being rejected by the chip..once you disable the chip, then the light will go on..how does the exhaust sound on the car? is it too loud? what car would you compare it to?i have everything you have except the exhaust and fmic..so you are around 240whp...some nice numbers dude..but definatly replace the div valve then..i mean you are ahead of me in the parts game so you should where and which to buy it from..send me a dyno sheet whenv you have the chance..mine was 224whp in 4th gear..
