I have just bought an K&N Air Filter and wanted to install it in my Passat, but i was just suprised that i could not find a way to locate the air filter box. I will be going through the owners manual for more info but in the mean time just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and just simply could explain to me how they have fixed it :). I am an prior Audi A6 owner and when the time came to change the vehicle, i just loved the 2.0 T Passat.

I have tried to find a way to get inside the plastic cover, but just cant see to find any latches or any bolts that would give me access to the engine itself. My Audi A6 (2.8L V6) was just so much more simpler :(. Still looking for help and assistance!

I would not install the K&N with oiled filter. Very likely to foul your mass air flow sensor and cause the ECU to trip an error code.
