I just got my first look at one the other day. The engine compartment was pretty crowded, but it looked to me that the distributor faced in entirely the wrong direction. It seemed to face in a direction that would bring it in contact with the firewall if it was mounted in an Audi.

Is this my imagination? Is it in the casting? Is it just a different distributor?

Its a TOTALLY different head.

When I was tearing apart a eurovan for the 2.5l block, I really liked the exhaust manifolf. I think it would work really well to modify for a big turbo:)

Someone will point out that the exhaust port spacing is different. That's true, but the other way to look at it is the work of a tubular header is half done. Unless you know someone with a plasma cutter having a new block flange made might be pricey.
