For those who have reused a MC 1 wiring harness, I have a few questions. In my excitement to rip the MC motor out of the donor car, I was a bit lax in documenting. I've figured out what all the harness connectors are, but am in a bit of a quandry, as I didn't label what sensor the harness connectors were removed from..

Looking at this picture:

<img src="http://www.sentex.net/~fdekat/mc_sensors.jpg">

There's the single wire sensor on top (1), the double sensor at the back (2), the multi pin sensor on the bottom (3), and the sensor in the block (4).

I'm trying to find out which sensors above belong to connections 19 &amp; 20 below. I'm thinking that due to the physical type of connector, 19 &amp; 20 would have to belong to sensor No. 2 (above). But which one where?

And also.. What are the othere sensors for, if they don't go to the ECU wiring harness?

Any help would be welcome!

Thanks very much!

On saturday ask me to pull out my MC harness. That is the ONLY connection (19 and 20) I labelled. So I can at least tell you which is the top, and which is the bottom.

If that helps...

Oh...I also know where my MC-1 flywheel is if you want to compare...

I labelled the harness (well, actually figured it all out. The electrical part: That's easy!)

What I didn't do was label the motor. So, I have two wires, but a plethora of choices where to connect the wires to the motor.

That was my problem. However, the urq list came through, and I think I've got it sorted.

If anyone want to know about the MC 1 harness, I got it pretty well figured out!

well, I also could have told you where on the motor I pulled them from...i think.
