Ok... So I have a I5 turbo flywheel sitting on the bench.
How can I tell if it's from a urq or a MC motor?
(Something like "The pin is XX teeth away from the TDC 0 mark" ?)
As far as I understand, the flywheels are the same except for the location of the timing pin. However, as timing is controlled by the ECU (relative to the pin), adjusting any error introduced by the wrong pin location is not possible.. Not as simple as giving the distributor a crank of a few degrees!
Or related: *IF* I do have a urq flywheel, what happens if I use it on a MC motor & ecu, in terms of spark timing?
Thanks...!
