Need some help putting the coupe back together, Does anyone know the tightening pattern for the head bolts on the coupe 20V? Not the VC but the actual head, am in the process of changing the HeadGasket.

When i put the new gasket in do i need to use a spray adhesive/sealer or is the new gasket itself good enough?

lastly how can i loosten some slack in the Timing belt so i can put it back on?

Thanks for the help.

As for the gasket, don't use a spray. Just use a razor blade to carefully scrape the deck clean.

Also the pattern is center out, alternating end to end, side to side. 3 passes. I think torque is 29 then 44. then a 1/2 turn. Verify that with a Bentley

But now it is/still leaking coolant somewhere. Cant be burning it cause the cloud of smoke is no more. Might just have a loose pipe somewhere, have to check the bands on the two i took off. Been a long week and long day, i miss the good old running coupe. I was so happy when we started it and it idled the best it has since i owned the car. Was right on 900 or so, no more pulsating. Now this leak or something is annoying me.
