I'm looking for anyone who has an EGT guage installed on the downpipe of the turbo. I connected mine to the test port just downstream of the turbo. I'm looking for the maximum temp I should allow during boost as well as what the normal EGT is while running down the highway at 70 mph without generating boost. I'm running 10 psi boost on a JT engine (8.5:1 compression).
Any help is appreciated.

I do have an EGT gauge on my downpipe. My car is a 93 urS4 AAN 20 valve that is highly modified. I am running an RS2 exhaust manifold and a Garrett hybrid T04E 57 trim with a #6 hotside. This thing spools pretty early but does run hot. On long uphill climbs I see upwards of 1400. At the track I see about 1350. I do live in Evahboost CO which is west of Denver at 8000ft. My next mod is a tubular manifold with a GT 35R ball bering turbo. Dave Dawson has a similar setup and now sees 1200 on the way up here to Evahboost. HTH.
