Really nice, kind of an orange/rust color for paint. Round headlights, 5cyl looked really well maintained! Interior was nice too, orange seats and carpet :)
I fear the reason it was there was the auto trans took a dump.
Neat lookin cars though!

Good cars in their day, and reasonably priced.
I think the buzz phrase/sales pitch back then was "Affordable Luxury"! Not the same today that's for sure!

The 5000 had it in the US.

The introduction was either 77 or 78

AFAIK.
The 76 100 was the largest I'm guessing which was a ~1.9 4 cyl.
