Can someone advise me on the optimal lemmiwinks settings for my 2001 A6 4.2 I want power but don't want to over do it and overstress my motor.

Has anyone else tried these settings? I guess I am a little scared............dont want to ruin my motor. Is this safe?

I tried the settings above and the car was pinging like crazy

I cut back to more conservative settings. Perhaps it was a fuel issue, but I wasn't prepared to ruin my motor. I guess I'll be getting a chip soon!

at the setting Kimchee posted, you'd best be running 93, or at least 91 (my guess is you'd ping at 91).


Then again you can always just bump the settings with Lemmiwinks on a laptop while at the strip running 100 octane, and then return the settings to normal after the days fun is over.

correction factors of 5-6... anything under 9 is ok.
