It is very similar to a 2.8. you need the cam bar and a gear puller to do it correctly JimR 04-20-2005, 06:29 AM From the link: "Much of this procedure is applicable to the 2000 and newer 4.2 40 valve (XXX) motor. However, the cam locking devices are different. Please consult the Bently manual when using this procedure." Combine the above, with the A6 2.8 bumper removal section in Tech, and you've got 90+% of what you need. Between the two, and a Bentley, you're golden. |
