My old 4.2 A6 Was dynoed and had 346 crank HP w/ 316 ftlbs torque with a GIAC chip and Supersprint exhaust.. air filter wasnt needed. So, if you had the S8 configuration of 360 hp stock you could probably get around 400 or so?

from Audi's 4.2L motor using the variable length intake manifold. Last year, their website also showed a 450 hp street motor using a short fixed length runner intake manifold plus race motors up to 600 hp.
