My 4.2 A6 is still stock. I am trying to decide which way to go with the ECU.

Those that have done this, would you mind sharing your experience? Pro's? Con's?

Has anyone tried Speed Tuning? They claim a 10% HP gain for $275 reflash.

felt in responsiveness and acceleration. But you can really notice the improvement once the TIP chip is installed. The Tip chip & flashed ECU work great together. I haven't dyno'd it yet but would be curious as to the output HP now.

BTW..I also have an RS6 sport exhaust and have insulated the intake system for further HP improvements.

about it on the A6 forum. I don't have the program and I wouldn't know what to do if I did, but it works. I don't even really know what he did, but it works.

Also, my '03 came with the S-Mode. Does the Tip chip improve on the S-mode as well?

Were did you intake come from?
