Anyone have experience with either of these companies and their Tiptronic chips.
I have a 2001 S4 with 36K miles and am holding off chipping the car as I can't decide who to go with.

It's that serious huh. I guess I'll have to seriously consider APR then.
Have you heard that without a tip chip the transmission can only handle a certain amount of the torque produced with a stage 1 chip because of the duty cycle not being maximized.

The Tip will handle the CIAC ECU chip fine with out chipping the TCU.
The ECU is flashed, so most any shops do it onsite, the TCU is a plug in chip, & might need to be sent out.
